Congrat on the RS, drive it like you stole it.
Both my 360 and F430 have had absolutely no reliability or quality issues, I would rank them right up there with Porsche (and I've owned a lot of Porsches). If that is really your major concern you are cutting yourself off from a great automotive experience. I don't know much about Maser, but Ferrari has their act together now.

Good to hear that because despite my Masi experience I'm still contemplating a 599 to replace the Masi.
Can you truely put a good deal of milleage on F-Cars if you intend to keep untill the wheels falls off ?

I bet the RS would be great!

IMO the Ferrari isn't durable enough, I don't want a garage queen. I just love driving, driving and driving.

Ferrari has two problems - a reputation for Italian reliability, and a garage-queen ownership culture. It's unfortunate because the latest generation of Fcars are truly spectacular to drive and seemingly quite reliable. The problem is that the garage-queen culture means they rarely get lots of miles put on them and thus their long-term reliability is hard to judge. But I visit FerrariChat a lot and see very few complaints of reliability for the 360 and 430.

My brother's F430 doesn't have quite the feel of solidity of my GT3, but it's given no trouble in its 6k miles and feels better now than it did when new. I think the new Ferraris are robust enough to use daily if you can accept the depreciation hit (and the attention). And they're certainly comfortable enough.

Peachboy, the 599 is indescribably awesome (been in one, haven't driven one). If you are fortunate enough to be able to afford one, you would have to be insane not to do it. The latest Ferraris deserve NOT to be garage queens.

There's a guy here in the Bay Area with three F cars, a 308 with around 150k plus miles, a 355 with around 75k miles, and his F430 I believe is around 25-30k miles. He just drives 'em, never plans to sell apparently. Tracks all three of them.

I have driven the 599 and that car is crazily awesome, just too big IMO.

You are right, the new Ferrari is meant to be driven, but the maintain cost is still much higher than a Porsche.

I would love to own one in the future tho, maybe after the RS.

Agreed it's big, that's why it's a nice complement to an RS but in no way a comparable replacement.
