someone posted a diagram a few months ago (maybe november specifically) and as I didn't order the HIFI stereo per the diagram there were no wires, just speaker grills. not a really good start to putting in a sweet system

If you didn't order the hi fi system, you don't have a rear channel on your stereo. If you overload the front channel, you could blow your stereo. If you change stereos, you then have to get a new expensive harness. Been there, tried that, still got front only speakers. I'm not a big fan of adding weight to the car, but I do love to drive some back roads and listen to some that wacky rocknroll music people been talkin about.

you will blow out the fronts with rock and roll or metal but can play electronic music as loud as the dial goes and it won't blow out. porsches stereos are built for ravers- haven't you seen super troopers?
I'm kidding of course- although the upside of blowing out your speakers is that we only have 2. haha
