White is definitely the traditional and probably the "proper" color for the GT3rs if one is to fall back to its '73 origins in motorsports, But I still love mine in green .............

The problem is, SO DO THE COPS

Hey "Old Guy",

Don't forget to pony up for the Aluminum hood & doors if you're really going to fake it

The GT3 came from the factory with those parts already.

Buy extra aluminum parts and stash'em in the rafters. They'll be like gold when after the 997 is out of production and the supply dries up.

With all of the GT3s and RS cars that are being tracked, it won't take long!!

Ask anyone that owns an early "S" from '69-'73 about the price of Aluminum decklids.

My guess is that 90% of GT3 and RS will never see track-time. Even less likely for the RS.

Wine is for drinking. Porsches are for driving.

In the 1930's each country had a traditional racing color. Germany was white, British was green, Italian was red, and France was blue. I wondered if the current popularity of white GT3/s was related to this.

How did British end up with a Green?
Personally, I would assign White to French for all the white flags they love to throw.

And you know how MB changed it to silver?

Their car was too heavy (forget which race)... so they sanded all the paint off to qualify, won, and kept their good luck symbol!
