Ahhh yes, toodle down the autobahn in the GT2, drop by the ring, lay down a 7:32, head back to HQ to take care of a few items on the to-do list...just another day at the office for the master.

It makes me cringe to see the impact wrench on the lug nuts though

Wow. If that doesn't make you want one, I would think you've lost your pulse.

Taken from Evo Magazine...

"Porsche’s new 911 GT2 has lapped the Nurburgring Nordschleife in an astonishing 7min 33sec in the hands of Horst von Saurma, chief road tester at Germany’s Sport Auto magazine. The time is just one second slower than von Saurma recorded for the Carrera GT.

Porsche, on the other hand, claims that the GT2 is five seconds a lap faster than the CGT (see evo 111), preferring Walter Röhrl’s slightly faster 7min 32sec time in the flagship 911 and a correspondingly slower time for the Carrera GT. Confusing stuff, but whichever set of figures you choose to look at, the GT2 is still bloody quick."

As an aside, a fully road-legal Pagani Zonda F ran a 7:28 lap. See http://www.evo.co.uk/news/evonews/21...ng_record.html

Karl.

It was good and I really want a GT2 now, but it was a bit cheesy with all the dramatic music, the Spyder rolling under the GT2, and the techs with the wheels.

Also, I would have had him leave the office and get in a GT3, but I guess that would not look good, although that would not be my intent.

The watch looks like a Sinn...but tough to tell given the photo.

I will view the video more closely and see if I recognize it.
