Default GT2 seats update

Thanks to FVD USA for pictures of the new GT2 seat from the Essen(?) motorshow

Looks like a nice seat; and from the translation will support 6pt harnesses and will also come in a 'clubsport' fire-resistant fabric in addition to the leather as
well!

No firm availablility or price yet although 4000euros was mentioned not sure if this is per seat or for a pair (I fear it's per seat).

No recline. You can tell that the upper and lower halves are made to lock together with no room for reclining, if you see a good profile shot.

One of the recent British 911 mags Jan edition claims it does recline.

It does recline, the junction is right above lap belt holes. Do a search and you'll find pictures/drawings of the patent showing how it folds.

I know that it folds forward (to get behind the seat), but I didn't think it reclines (allow for different angles between seat bottom and back when seated). I thought that once folded down for seating, there are no options for different seating positions with regard to reclined angle...

It only reclines forward and locks into a fixed seating position. There is no rear recline.
