I thought Clubsport seats always had fireproof fabric instead of leather, no? Those look like CGT seats - very nice!

The clubsport seat I bought were in cloth. I am pretty sure that only the CGT are available in leather. The shoulder belt doesn't have to go through the holes. I heard that the mounting procedue is slightly different with the CGT seats than with the Clubsport seats but don't really know. All I know is that they never told me that my seats didn't come with mounting hardward and it was a pain to get it done right.
Congrats on the seats. They are crazy light.

I just received a set that arrived last Monday. The vendor I ordered them from constructed all the components of the seats together before delivery making the whole process much easier. Exchanging the stock seats was much easier than anticipated. The hardest part, was maneuvering the stock seat out the car once unbolted. For the seat belts, you just un-anchor them and re-route the belt through the side hole of the seat.

Seats look awesome . . . congrats. Pretty sure that leather is technically not available in the clubsport version . . . but otherwise, the exact same seats.
Will the standard buckle in US version cars feed through the hole in the seats? One dealer told me that new "longer" buckles need to be ordered/installed.

How much are these seats going for now (complete with hardware)?
Are they readily available?
I put the 996 style buckets in my RS, but I really like the new style in carbon fiber! Do they feel the same as the 996 style as far as comfort and fitment?

I think that is correct (and crazy) -- each seat shell alone is now $6500 or so . . . . Seems as if Porsche instituted some significant price increases recently on various parts, perhaps on account of the dollar getting weaker.

Helpful note for those of you who alternately use harnesses and 3-point belts: get a second set of seat-belt buckles to snap in when you're using the harnesses; that'll eliminate the seat-belt warning light on the dash.
