Yes, I bought Marco Di Leo's car (and trailer load of spares) from Ross Smith Racing. I'm picking it up in Ft Worth in 10 days. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to sucessfully chanell his spirit to guide me while driving it next year. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Will you be trying any of the Star Mazda events in 2008?

No. I plan on club racing it locally. I don't have the desire nor the $400K+ budget to run the series for a year.

What would be involved in toning it down? I assume the mirrors could be swapped out for silver painted ones, the orange parts on the wing could be swapped as well. The decals on the sides -- I assume those are under the 3M such that you'd remove the 3M first and then the RS decal, and then re-apply. The wheels are an obviously easy swap for some light-weight aftermarkets.

Silver's my favorite color for the RS, but I'd want it more purpose-built appearing. One of the beauties of my current 997S is that it's a sleeper. It may be hard to consider an RS a sleeper, but toned down perhaps the only "look at me" feature left is the wing and I'd just have to live with that.

I had an RS in some of the other colors. I kep tthe green one, but the silver/orange could be my overall favorite color. in person, the car is about 20x as hot as in the photos. i think it sthe wheels, it kin of gives the car a matchbox look. but in person, rolling, those wheels are incredible. i actually had bot some black rs wheels, with black/orange centers, and while they looked incredible on the silver, the orange was just far more the cats' meow.

there are so many fewer Silvers than other colors, i think it will eventually be the one that long long term, commands the highest premium. artic silver has always been a top pcar color

awsome car. good luck with your sale.

Nice car; it'll sell quick.

This is the reality of the GT3/RS. Fantastic cars that can be driven to/from track, but a very expensive toy to really abuse on track, and in some ways less satifying on the street than a 997S IMO.

These cars do exactly as they are billed to do and it is outstanding as a dual purpose car; a reasonably compliant street car that is devastatingly fast on track. But a compromise nonetheless.

Price reduced to 153K firm. (Frankly for any less than this I'd rather just keep the car even though it mainly just takes up space in the garage now.) Current mileage total is 1,855.
You can see the ad on the rennlist classifieds.
Thanks
Patrick.

he wont, b/c you aren't buying from him.
if you buy prq's car "through" GQ and pay him a small fee, he may pay full or very very close to what you paid on your car. if you need details, email me.
