I figured you would like the R888's. I'm having the same experience as you, but I would love to just try a shaved 255/315 set just to see how much faster they would be. They don't seem to ware anyway :-)

OK, just to be clear about the cars involved here - no rubbing on a 997 GT3 or GT3RS with the 255/315 18" setup? Or both?

I've got a "regular" GT3 and no rubbing. Wheel offsets are same as stock 19" (I left the 5mm spacer in so I could easily swap back to 19" wheels).

CCW Corsairs (C14) as do a lot of other folks. 9",12"

Mooty, Thanks for the report.

FWIW, I talked with the guys at Appalachian Tire (www.racetire.com) who sell a lot of Toyos. They said the R888 doesn take to shaving very well, with mixed results. u

This stuff from Amsoil is pure magic. Removes OTR (Other People's Rubber) marks with ease. Way easier than 3M hand glaze or the like.
