History of Ruf Videos
Hi guys, been reading Rennlist for years, but rarely had the occasion to post. However, I finally have a compelling reason to:
Here is a 30-minute video about our beloved Ruf as narrated by Alois Ruf himself. It's a charming story that really reminded me of why I started loving Porsches in the first place (and, consquently, how I came to find Rennlist even before I was legally allowed to drive!).
It's split into four parts and here are the links in order:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfYHCbyo6CE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvF2hKTKewE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfNwmJvE3n4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MozvhPnWtWM
Or, all four are embedded in a recent post on Autoblog:
http://www.autoblog.com/2007/11/05/v...istory-of-ruf/
Hope you all enjoy it half as much as I did. Don't know if it's appropriate to cross-post into other forums, so feel free to link!

I watched the video after my visit there, they hooked me up with the DVD...I love stuff like that.
seeing the workshop in person is something you really need to do while you're in Europe if you're ever on vacation...and the passion of Alois, all the workers, really makes you feel good for the company and makes you want to be a part of it. they rehabbed a 550 spyder that was in the workshop while I was there and it was an amazing finished product.
slightly OT-
I did i longer write up on cjwilson.mlblogs.com also if you want to read more about my Ruf experience, including driving the rt12 (also on 997tt forum)
