Pics from Kyalami Porsche Day
Great track day at Kyalami Sunday. Had to be 50 or 60 Porsches there, mostly GT3s. Got some track time in my car, which was awesome, and the all-GT3 parade lap was something to see. Also got to meet v12man from this board.
Here are some pics:

Beautiful cars! The thought that went through my head while looking at your nice photos is that I love my country, but it sure does seem to be easier to pick up an RS as a citizen of South Africa. Hmmmmm.

Mark - there is one RS left to be specified on the SA allocation - it will come in as a 2008 - a mere 300+kUSD.
According to the local Porsche centre boss, SA has the highest percentage of GT3's and RS's to 'normal' Porsches in the world - there were 52 GT3's that accepted the invite to Kyalami, and I think there were probably more at the track. The event was run in conjunction with the local porsche club fun day on track, and in addition to the GT3's there were probably another 60-80 cars that attended.
Here are my camera phone pictures from the meeting at the porsche centre before driving to the track - GT3's only - 996Mk1, 996Mk2, 996RS, 997, 997RS are all in the line - as well as across the road - not really enough parking for all the cars.
One of the events on track were the Cayenne Turbo's - I could not believe how quick they are on track - and that with driver plus 3 and taking it at only about 60% - amazing vehicle for a 2.5 ton lump - it's a very quick lump of iron. Now where is my chequebook... 200kUSD before any options here.
