Default Favorite brake pads for the 997 GT3??

I've got a 997 GT3 that I use about 80% of the time for the track. Has anyone got a brake pad they've tried that offers improved stopping and wear on the track without making the car intolerable on the street? And what did you do with the pad wear sensors when you put the new pads on? Tie them up somehow?

(I'm assuming the stock rotors and calipers stay on the car for now)

Thanks.

29 has slightly more bite than 19. not any more noisy. well, for me both 19 and 29 are dead silent on street. same price. i used to run 19, now 29's. same life span and same harshness on the rotors.

Mooty, they're dead silent for you because your intervals between track events are so short. For me, the pads are silent right after a track event but, after a week or two, they begin to squeak (which I actually don't mind) and it gets a little louder as you go along. Obviously, the cure is more frequent track weekends and I have advised my wife that this is necessary to maintain the car.

I run the p50s from motorsport with the stock silencer and they don't squeal one bit. then I had someone check with pagid and they told me they are the same as the blacks. oops, time to change rotors already. The moral is pay for the exorbitant amounts Porsche charges you for those silencer and stop lying to your wife! Will have to try the yellows next.

Does Performance Friction make track pads for the stock calipers?
