Default Wanted: 2008 GT3 Allocation Spot

How hard is it to find a 2008 GT3 Allocation Spot with Euro Delivery at MSRP?

Any chance? If so, could you please tell me who to contact?

Thanks

Doug

HAHA, is this meant to be funny?

seriously if you dont have a spot, and you want to ORDER one for euro delivery at MSRP.... pick up the phone, call and start beggine EVERY dealer in USA.

not sure if it is true, but some posts on RL stated that GT3 production ends by December. so hurry.

I've been looking into this. It is virtually impossible to get an 08 GT3 allocation for msrp. Only about 100 are available and production ends in Dec. In CA, it will cost you $20k over msrp...

I actually found my car at msrp with euro delivery, picking it up in 2 weeks. RUF here in dallas made a bunch of calls around for me because my local dallas dealer (park place) decided to auction off the build slot I'd put a deposit on. I ended up going through porsche nashua in new hampshire.

the real problem you're gonna run into is that 1) the slots are extremely limited 2) for euro delivery- winter weather and GT3 isn't exactly a brilliant combo.

There may not even be 100 of them. They have long been sold out and one dealer I spoke to quoted $25K over MSRP for their 2 allocations. Of course some dealers with cars on their showrooms are asking as much as $35K over. Supply and demand at it's best.

You're right, it's more like 95 for the non rs gt3s and around 60 for the rs....

I think that any remaining orders are locked anyway since they end production in December. Mine is a Nov 11 build and it has been locked for at least a month already. That means that someone with a Dec 11 build should be locked by now. I know a guy with a Dec 6 build that is locked for sure. After Decemeber 11 you are getting awfully close to Xmas, I would guess that they will cease production around the 20th of December.

You might find an allocation, but it will probably not be changeable.

Stephen,
Which dealer are you getting your car from?
Thanks,
