Default is the bmw oe 235/35/19 mpsc the same as the pcar oe 235/35/19 mpsc or is it real? ..

- i just noticed this tire on a tire site and thought maybe michelin was offering their real mpsc tire in this size but then i noticed it was a OE BMW tire

- can anyone find out, or does anyone know if it is the real thing or is it just like the Pcar front tire with the large rain channels

thanks

Paul

They're different. MPSC 235/35-19 and 265/30-19 were OEM for the M3 CSL, and they're just like the "real" 18" MPSC in terms of rubber compound and tread pattern.

That said, if you put a "real" MPSC 235 on the front of a 911, I'm not sure what you'd put on the back.

since the front tire is the major problem with this car, i'm thinking leave the rear as is could be a solution and then just figure out if the sways need adjusting (likely just stiffen the front by one or loosen the rear by one or maybe nothing at all)

does anyone know a source who may have these in stock in North America?

thanks
