I've been up to Whistler several times skiing and snowmobiling. I remember the first time I went there and drove up that road ... I was just in awe of how scenic and beautiful it is.

Yes, that is in fact the Sea to Sky Hwy, affectionately referred to as the “C2S”. Incredible road that winds along Howe Sound, a fiord-like piece of ocean. Usually now it’s bristling with radar traps. Last night? Not a one seen or tagged on WAZE or picked up on the detector. Just a Tesla with a young kid n the front passenger seat that gave me a thumbs up.

Stopped by my new construction to take some measurements. Hoping to get a test fit of the cars one of these days.

I mounted a mic in the engine bay, ran a wire thru the window and went for a quick spin. Great audio but intentionally crappy video, because, you know, I'm not going to self-incriminate

Mic isn't anything special but has a dead-cat/windsock on it just in case. I didn't want to bake something expensive.

Haha you can see the car I passed going through that turn where I did a weird downshift. He was out having fun too and I wasn't sure what he was going to do so I hesitated a little, and I was forced into a crappy line. It's an absolutely incredible turn, two lanes wide with huge shoulders, dives down low, banked, through a tunnel, and you just stand on it coming out up the hill on the other side. It's also deserted on the weekends!

Edit: Here's the turn - https://www.google.com/maps/@47.9221...7i16384!8i8192

Mic sounds good - car is looking great. We met probably 3 years ago back when The Shop first opened and I think you had just purchased your RS. Glad you're getting it some exercise. The carpool bypass from 405S to 90W is also good fun as visibility is good and single lane...followed by lots of tunnels.
