Default carbon Door sills what else?

I wasnt able to spec out my car the way I wanted. I would have put in some carbon bits- Not overwhelming not cheesy but some classy accents. For instance
I wouldnt have ordered full leather. But I have now removed the alcantara shifter and Ebrake, and replaced them with carbon. I have carbon Door sills on order from sunset. Any other parts you guys have done? I think the center console is a bit much for me but any other parts you can suggest would be greatly appreciated.

Don't go too crazy with the CF imho... As muc as I like it you have to remember it's _not_ real CF and just wrapped I like the handbrake and shifter in CF but I agree the rear main center console would make it look out of place. Do the door sills (very easy to do) and call it a day... The vent pieces are easy to snap in and don't look too bad either but at least if you don't like them they take minutes to swap.

Thanks Sharky exactly the kind of advice I am looking for. I dont want to over do it
its a GT3 and I want to keep that in mind.
I think the strip covering the drink holders would be cool but I dont know how hard that would be to do.
How hard are the sills???? Just removing the originals? that just an adhesive strip and replace the new ones with their adhesive strip?

carbon "door finishers" are very cool. makes the handle area look very nice imo. door sills are nice, but you don't see them that much and besides the real deal lights up which is stunning, had it on my TT

the illuminated sills were $500 more. I thought that was a bit much. Nice looking but more than I cared to pay.

Hey oldguy, actually on the 996s those were a ROYAL pain in the you know what... They're VERY easy on the 997 interiors though. The strip right across is nice and subtle. Good idea!

The sills are harder to do as the car gets older. Since we're dealing with new cars here it's not hard. Just carefully heat them up (use a heat gun) so that you get the glue/compound softened and then pull it off. The stock one won't be re-usuable so don't worry too much about destroying it in the process. Then you need to scrub/clean the painted surface and rid it of all the remaining residue and once clean... install the CF ones.

Hey OldGuy,

I know we have/did sell those. I don't have any at the shop but I'll see how long it would take to get them etc...

Paul:

The OE carbon cup holder trim package (EZA) is actually a three-piece unit.

Along with the passenger compartment cup holders and trim, it is also comprised of two smaller pieces on the driver's side, next to the vents. It is very hard to see in the above photo on the RS, but it is there. IMO, it balances out the dash nicely.
