Default Farnbacher Loles

Hey Guys,

Has anyone here delt with Farnbacher Loles for upgrades to their cars? I've been speaking with Kip and he seems like a nice guy with a good background knowledge of Porsche cars. I'm strongly considering going with them for some mods over the winter. But in doing my checking I've found some negaitve comments on them on some other boards. Can anyone here offer some opinion?

I had a great experience with them - Do not worry as they are first class!

They have installed several upgrades and done service work on my 04 GT3 and my cousins C2. First rate shop and I can highly recommend them.

They are leading the Rolex GT class for a reason... I will however fight them to the finish in the #67 TRG next week

Kip is great and he knows what he's talking about.

They did the track setup, brake flush, 996 euro seats, harness and roll bar install. I talked to 3 shops and decided to go with them. Going back this winter for more.

You're in Canada? What upgrades are you thinking of going all the way down to Connecticut to have installed?

I'm looking at doing the 997 GT3S package that they offer. Basically its a full suspension, power upgrade, fly wheel, and some body bits. I'm looking to play a little more seriously next summer

pls keep us posted on what suspension you end up with and how it integrates or how you kill off pasm.

best of luck.

i spoke with kip long long ago when they did their first 3.8L GTR cayman. he knows his stuff. but he's very busy, i keep playing phone tag with him. you are closer to his shop. perhaps a visit in person will help you decide.

i have a friend based in CA but have them maintain a 997 cup car on east coast. he had nothing but good things to say about the outfit.

Apex late, I will have to get a power upgrade this winter to match your set up. That is if I want to hang with the Big Dogs! What do you think 2.13s??
