The only thing F car guys care about is resale and low mileage. You would never be able to get your
inflated F car resale price if the next buyer knows it has been tracked thus the majority dont go to the
track. As many times as I have been to Willow Springs and Button willow I have seen less than 5 Fcars on track not including one day I was at Willow and they had some kind of Ferrari lunch time parade.
thats just the truth about 99.5% of all Fcar owners.
Jack and Watt being the notable exceptions -keeping that 99.5 from being 99.9%

Judging by a recent thread on 996 GT3 mileage, it appears that the mileage phobia afflicts Porsche owners too.

Good luck trying to sell your GT3 if it's been tracked and has 50K miles on it in 4 years...

i'll have 50k in 2.5 years. i dont think i can give it away so i plan to drive it into the ground.

be friend your dealer's service dept. my pretty much told me that short of me doing a money shift or drive into a wall, they will warranty everything (of course pads, rotors, tires are not covered... you need to be reasonable).

my radiator was punctured (different p car) that was obviously not a warranty issue. it was NOT a defect but an accident with debris.

Hey I'm enjoying the car to the fullest(I'm driving it!!!). Who needs a garage queen. Ferrai's are few and far between on DE days makes not want to get one buit credit those who do. Keep your car for a long time-it's really cheaper that way resale or not. Mike
