Default DIY oil change

I looked at Renntech and found the DIY article. However, looking under the car, I'm not quite sure where the two drain screws are. Does anyone have a picture of where the screws are?

Thanks

plug on the case, it's on the left side of the case (driver side), you can't miss that.
oil tank, take off the rear right wheel, you will be staring at the oil tank and the plug is at the bottom of it.

Mooty,
Are these them? The top photo is looking under the car towards the driver and the bottom photo is looking between the wheel on the passenger side.

Thanks

Is the oil filter part the same as a 997S? Any chance of you taking a few pics of the process?

TIA

The oil filter is the same. The other parts you need are the two rings- one copper and one aluminum. BTW, which rings go with which?

I'll be doing my oil change after the first track event in Sept and I'll take some pics.

On mine, copper was on the oil tank and aluminum was on the case drain plug. This was the first oil change at 1300 miles.

I'm confusing myself also. I've done quite a few on my 996 GT3, but on the 7 there are 2 of them on the left side of the case, which one is the correct one ?. The one closest to the jacking point or the one closest to the rear of the car ? If I'm correct the one by the jacking point is some kind of sensor and not draining.

Maybe I should just go to the garage instead of sitting on my lazy *** and asking stupid questions
