Default rubbing with 18" ccw c14 ?

i bought a set of ccw c14 18x9 et53 and 18x12et68. tires are r6 245/35 and 315/30. had the car set up and my shop said that the fronts may rub on the inside. anyone with experience with a similar set up?

thanks.

I have 2 sets of the same wheels and have been runing the exact same tires. No problem at all, if anything it is very addictive. I am trying R888 255 in the front this week-end. Seems to be OK as well. you are up for a lot of fun.

I've got the same CCW Wheels but with 245/40/18, 305/35/18 Toyo R888 unshaved. I did notice on one side they rubbed just a little on the inner well lining. But these where full tread, and must have been under some real hard compression on the track. I can see a very small rub mark, but nothing significant, and nothing I am going to worry about. The rolling diameter of your tire is smaller, so you should have no issue. Just checked out Stephan's 255s this weekend and looks like they should work no problem (can't wait to put them on my car and try them out next week )

how much negative camber are you guys running to get 255s in there? what is the verdict on the R888? Are they better than the RA-1s?
