For you ALMS fans out there, you may have seen this car competing throughout the year in the highly competitive GT2 class. Tim Pappas is the owner of the car, but all the care and feeding is handled by Jim Bell of Bell Motorsports of Miami, FL. This car has finished no lower than 9th and has two top five finishes. Car has never been crashed.

Tim has decided to sell this car to make room for his 2008 997RSR that will arrive later this year. Only 8 of these new cars will be brought to the U.S.

The car will be zero timed and come as delivered from Porsche Motorsports.

All 8 that are due in are spoken for. Even if you wanted a new one, you could not get it.

New '08 car is IIRC just over $410,000.

That's the base price. There are options and shipping to be considered.

Shipping alone is brutal. The car is too big to fit in a standard cargo hold. A special combi plane is needed to transport it. A normal Cup car fits, but the RSR is a different ball game.

True. I thought that was understood. After options and shipping that sucker is easily hitting 400K! Damn, that's the price of a nice home for most people

I'm not at the showroom and I don't have my recent issue of Christophorous with me that shows the prices. Thanks for posting those numbers LVDell.

Mike.....

I am in Canada and have some connections at PAG........I am pretty sure I could get one if I made the phone calls and sent a cheque over, if not........it is too rich for my client according to him at that number, considering it is used and a year old now. His opinion, not mine.

Did you fly it over on Lufthansa in a 747 ? That is about $8K last time I checked.

Do you take cash? I'll have to buy more paper and a faster photocopier first.

Not really looking for the RSR actually.........your car is just a one off opportunity, and I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I was capable of paying for it, beats waiting 6-8 months for one.........my client is a club racer type that always has to be the fastest with the newest and neatest car........a GT3 Cup would do.......

Cheers.....!!
