Default First Impression

Well, my GT3 arrived as planned, late Wednesday evening. What can i say? The car is truly stunning it person. This one is white with black wheels, and has red seat belts and gauges. My wife thought it was "pretty." As to driving impression: Not being able to get over 4250 RPM is killing me! Yet, i will say that the car has such a linear power delivery that i am amazed at the speeds i have reached whithout even knowing it. Just coming out of a tip 997TT, where you could feel the boost come on and new rapid acceleration was around the corner, in the GT3 it's there before you know it. The shifter is great, the exhaust sounds awesome, and man, the car is tight. It envokes a sense of confidence that could not be found in my 996 or 997 tts. Thanks

Wait till you go in a tunnel or wall line street at 8000 rpm in 2nd gear You will be saying

Jim: Have you pulled the plug under the hood yet to disable all of the quieting functions of the stock exhaust? That will give you the loudest exhaust not possible with the stock exhaust. Very useful when wearing a helmet.

No, although I have read about it, I haven't done that. I will be having a GMG exhaust installed next week (beautiful looking piece) and I expect it to be sounding better yet!
