Default GT3/RS "breathing" - ever notice this?

Drove my 3 today and got caught in the middle of the 60+th consecutive day of rain here. What I noticed was that gusts of wind would draw hot air from the nose vent onto the front windshield and fog the outer surface. It was as if the car was like a large animal breathing. Interesting

Same thing here, but the fog would clear in seconds.

Not in the GT3 (but then again its been 110 her since June and the rain evaporates before it hits the ground) but this has happened in alot of my cars. In fact we were on vacation this week in the mountains and in my X5, in a brief rain storm going from June Lake to Mammoth, the windshield fogs up as the temp went from 81 to 62 according to the BMW computer-in about 3 minutes. Pretty normal I would say. Especially when temps vary. Here we can go from -200 MSL to 9000 feet in a couple hundred miles. Wildly varied temps. When it rains the air is full of moisture obviously and it gets into your car until its dried out by the A.C. - Thats why our evaporated coolers work here and probably woulnt where you live (AC is too expensive for regular houses). When it rains here (rarely) in late summer our coolers dont work and we are lethargic as lizard in January. Imagine 115 humid and your air conditioner(our evaporative coolers) doesnt work.
We dread August/Sept and the thunderstorms come over the Sierras. Its just miserable-but a job is a job. But then in Jan its 65 and we're out playing golf after a morning of skiing.
