pretty damn simple lap time etc. I always get the high speed stuff and never download data etc. Just a big laptimer that is easy to mount without trashing the dash.

if you just want a lap time, aims makes one.
also google XT timer, i have one, it is 1 billion times better than hot lap timer and cost the same.

TraqMate here and the new version 2.X is a huge improvement on the software (all uploads are no charge). I have the TracVision also, where video and data overlay so you can see exactly what's happening and when. I use the 20 sampling rate and find it accurate enough for my needs (10, 20, 40 settings).

No issues. I had a friend make a mount for me. Here's a pic. You can also get one here ... I'm probably going to switch to it because I like the location better. It clips over the air vent. http://www.proclipusa.com

He ran a 2:09.9, and me a lowly 2:11. But nice thing about both running the G2x, is we can compare files. We were just about equal in all segments except two, where I lost about half a second each. The data told me I braked to early/much, and could carry more speed thru the turn.
