i love it.
i would love it more if it's 500 lbs lighter, had no PASM. but it is still awesome.

Perfect.
It will take many iterations of the 998 before before Porsche equals this car.
When all the carping is over, the RS will be the big time winner. The GT3 a worthy runner up.

I am very pleased with mine. I love the looks and the performance. Once I get my proper tires I expect it to surpass the 996GT3 on track. All the car needs is stickier tires.

tocho - the OEM tires that come with the car (Michelin or Pirelli) are perfectly fine on the street. They are very grippy for a street tire (way better than the PS2). As we have learned, the rubber is a different compound from the real "R compound" cup tires we are accustomed to. They work well in the wet but not quite as good as a PS2 which has more tread depth. Honestly, I would (and I do) use the OEM tires and enjoy them as they set a new standard for street tires. They work well on the track too, just not as grippy as the regular cup tires. Since I am used to the grip of the 18 inch cup with the sticky rubber and narrow grooves, the on track performance is not as good. For the street - wow, enjoy them. They will wear faster than a PS2 but so what. Enjoy!
If your car comes with Pirelli don't worry, they are as good as the Michelins and provide more wet grip, giving up a little in the dry.
Best,
