Bob, when will you get a chance to run proper R comps? I'm looking forward to your report.

Choices !!!!!

My friend Scott and I partner in this garage and he and I are on the same page - the GT3 RS is our #1 favorite car to drive.

He loves the Green, I thought I did too until I took delivery on the Orange RS. I thought I was over the color by the time it arrived - not true I love the color more every day. The seats and roll bar also add to the package - best Porsche to date.

FYI- No Carrera GT in this collection so best Porsche???? I do love the GT, but also looking at the 599 GTB.

Seeing the orange and green side by side....IMHO the orange looks best. BTW, your garage is awesome.

Other than the Corsa tires which are noisy on track and reduce my confidence, the car is perfect. I intend to keep it for a long long time (like forever).

Being new to the p world, I bought a 996 a few years ago. From that point, I was dedicated to owning at least one p car. Now that I have the RS, I'm blown away every time I drive it. I can't see ever selling the RS. I believe it will always get a great deal of respect no matter how much they improve future cars.

BTW that is "garage on steroids"!

I like my car a lot. It's another pumpkin, with PCCB's. Not the best Porsche ever - that's the CGT, hands down. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the exhaust note, with the in and out nature of the baffle system. I know I could leave it in "normal" mode and not deal with the sometimes quirky way the note gets louder, but I do want to hear the motor. I might try an aftermarket exhaust down the road.

I guess I will be forever spoiled by the sound of the CGT - where, for example, downshifts are a source of wonderful aural experience. Of course, ten cylinders vs. six, and the very low rotating mass of the CGT motor have a lot to do with this. So I recognize that improving the exhaust would help, but....

For street use the MSPC's on my car are great - much stickier than the PS2's on the CGT. It would be terrific if Michelin would begin producing a comparable tire for the CGT.

I absolutely love it -- get an adrenaline rush everytime I drive it, and I think it is one of the best looking cars out there, period.

The GT3 is by far the most fun to drive car I have ever had and the sound is
sooo intoxicating. I disconnected the exhaust plug ......simply awesome.
Porsche is THE race car company !!!

Hey Mooty, how many Porsches have you gone through (bought/sold) in the past 2 years? I'm just curious.

Really awesome car! Love it. Beautiful to look at, so much fun on the track. The main thing I am upset about is that Porsche decided not to put in the welded plates for the cage in the car. turns a simple bolt on into a much more involved exercise. AND, the damn seats are so difficult to get! &%$#!! It is a bit dangerous to drive on the Hwy. I have some crazy guy tailgate me and drive all around me just so that he can take pictures of the car. Most of the time, I just get a thumbs up.
