NICE! Looks great in black...totally hides the Saleen gills. And those seats look fantastic.

I'd take it over an RS for sure.

Aaaahhh! I just read it...PSM?! Say it isn't so!

They are doing what BMW is doing, which I have no problem with.

Hell, if they had done that with the 996 Turbo, I would have kept it.

In the BMW world, you push the DSC button to turn off stability, you press and hold for 5 or 10 seconds, and ABD also disengages.

This I have no problem with, what with govt mandate and all.

I have a problem with mandatory non defeatable junk like PSM on the 996 and 997 Turbo that comes back on when it feels like it.

Thanks for posting -- car looks awesome. Two things jump out at me: (i) gross weight of 3,858 lbs (really?) and (ii) sport bucket seats permit 6 point harness (now why couldn't they have issued these with the GT3RS?!)

Agreed, seats would have been nice. Can't wait to find out how much it's going to cost me to swap for the new ones.

Only 530 HP? I would expected the number to be a little north of 550HP..

Wonder what those seats are going to cost. Hopefully a bit less than the GT3 CF seats.

Tried the micro-site address and got this message "Das angeforderte Dokument konnte nicht gefunden werden"....I think it means "You are s.o.l. " in german.

Yeah - I don't think the microsite is up yet...
Also no quoted MSRP; I've heard that it should be 5-10% north of where the 996GT2 came..What was that amount?
