Default New GT3 - Picked it up!

Arrived at Porsche HQ last Friday at 7:55 am (they open at 8:00 am). No tour, no lunch, justed wanted the keys. We were out the door by 9:45 am on our way to Munich.

Father like son had a big smile on their face.

5 Miles on the clock at delivery

Due to traffic and construction, it took us about 2 hours to get to Munich.

Departure for Lindau on the Bodensee the next morning and then onwards to Zurich and Geneva after having exchanged my son for my better half.

Departure from Geneva via the Furka, Julia and several other passes to St. Moritz the next morning:

Back the next morning to Munich as I had to unfortunately cut my vacation short due to a business trip

Summary:

- OMG, this thing drives like a go-cart
- Da sound!!!
- My wife appreciates the "Sport" button, i.e. being able to switch it off
- I appreciate the "Sport" button, i.e. being able to switch it on in the tunnels
- 1300 unforgetable miles in 4 days
- Surprisingly comfortable

The car is now in Munich for the RS wing, Cup inlet screens and 3M bra installation. I'll be back in 2 weeks for some more fun.

Hey Congrats!

I used to live in Konstanz am Bodensee. That area is one of my favorite places on earth.

If you are going to sin, you might as well sin BIG! Great choice. I saw one today in same combo, looked incredible. Many Happy Miles!

It has to hurt shelling out the VRT on that baby!

Why not leave it at the 'ring with me and save some money?

US spec?

You are most welcome. I look forward to seeing it on the Nordschleife.

It is always good to put one over on the Revenue Commisioners!

Congratulations Frank.
You don't waste any time, right? Great mods by the way. It would be nice if you write something comparing the GT3 to the 964 turbo. Thank you.

Hi Frank, Love that RS wing on your GT3. Where did you get it and how much its cost? Is it possible to show the picture of your car from both front and rear angle? love to see it...
