New GT3 - Picked it up!
Arrived at Porsche HQ last Friday at 7:55 am (they open at 8:00 am). No tour, no lunch, justed wanted the keys. We were out the door by 9:45 am on our way to Munich.
Father like son had a big smile on their face.
5 Miles on the clock at delivery
Due to traffic and construction, it took us about 2 hours to get to Munich.
Departure for Lindau on the Bodensee the next morning and then onwards to Zurich and Geneva after having exchanged my son for my better half.
Departure from Geneva via the Furka, Julia and several other passes to St. Moritz the next morning:
Back the next morning to Munich as I had to unfortunately cut my vacation short due to a business trip
Summary:
- OMG, this thing drives like a go-cart
- Da sound!!!
- My wife appreciates the "Sport" button, i.e. being able to switch it off
- I appreciate the "Sport" button, i.e. being able to switch it on in the tunnels
- 1300 unforgetable miles in 4 days
- Surprisingly comfortable
The car is now in Munich for the RS wing, Cup inlet screens and 3M bra installation. I'll be back in 2 weeks for some more fun.

Congratulations Frank.
You don't waste any time, right? Great mods by the way. It would be nice if you write something comparing the GT3 to the 964 turbo. Thank you.
