Default sunroof opinion

i was the one who posted the original thread stating sunroof would be mandatory back in early 06. now that i have driven the car for 2 weeks and 200 miles i feel it is one of the best features of the car.

its aerodynamics allow for windows and roof to be open without any wind buffeting at all. the many other cars ive had are usually too noisy/windy at speed when driven open like this. it is almost as good as having a targa or even a cab and there is no better way to enjoy its sounds!

i would pick a sunroof over almost any other feature such as a/c, radio, power windows, seats, mirrors, etc. this alone is why i would take a gt3 over an rs.

And in the tilted up position it is an additional spoiler.

Ha! You should write them an apologize letter, then

I just think the sunroof it's the extreme opposite of the GT3 concept. It's like having a cup holder on the roof of the car. And what are you talking about? a/c, radio, power windows, seats, mirrors? You are a Turbo guy!!!!

i mean i would have no problem giving up these other 'features' before i would delete the sunroof. has nothing to do with turbo (which i happen to also like, just not as much)

overall, p could have given everyone a choice but since they didnt im glad they decided it this way

Both windows down, sunroof tilted, and the sport button on = GT3 heaven. IMHO

While I understand the premise of having no sunroof, does it really matter? I'm 6'1" and fit with helmet and top fed helmet blower.

The sun roof is a pleasant surprise. Helps me forget the "bone jarring" ride.
