GT3 vs Cup Chin Spoilers
Does anyone know the difference between the standard GT3 chin spoiler and the Cup chin spoiler? Is the Cup one lower? Is the Cup one more flexible? And last, does the Cup fit the GT3 bumper without modification? Has anyone put one on a GT3? Thanks.

Generally this products are made with vinyl Ester resin which have much higher flexibility.
I think the only one that sells what you are looking is Gert Carnewal. He is a very kind and professional person. Try contact him. http://www.carnewal.com/

I was using the 997 Cup Car splitter on my 2006 3.6 race car with the factory aerokit. Very flexable and takes two seconds to remove/replace. I had to take mine off to get the car in the trailer...unless something changed it should work.

I was told that the 997 Cup Car chin spoiler and 997 GT3/RS street car spoiler are not interchangable? You would have to either install the front bumper off the cup car, or heavily modify the street GT3's bumper. After looking at my 997 GT3 and a 997 Cup car side by side and examining the spoiler, I would tend to agree. The Cup car spoiler attaches to the inside of the wheel well / front fender. It seems much more involved then the street car's.
I have detailed photos I took of both side by side to demonstrate the differences, but, I don't know how to post the photos here.
If I have received incorrect information, please let me know. If you guys are installing the Cup Car front spoiler on the GT3's bumper, please post a photo, and more importantly, a part number!!!
Thank you!

I hope Gert is right. When someone has some first hand experience installing the Cup chin spoiler without modification can they please confirm that it's true. Then I'll order one.
