I think it's Venture shield that they use - www.premiermobilegroup.com

Just got back from the Bay area after Premier installed the bra on my white car. I think they use Venture. In the sunlight at the front of the car, almost no line. No yellow tint either. Needs to be kept clean and well waxed to maintain the clear appearance on the white paint.

Have you considered Permaguard - it is also used on Executive jets and yachts. I have been very impressed by the results. Its 'only a polymer', but it does offer a level of protection and is not disfiguring.

As far as protection from road rash is concerned, there is a school of owners that inclines towards finding a really good car detailer and regularly having dings cleaned up and repairs.

So, if you go to buy a classic car in the Germanic part of Europe, expect to see the dings nicely cleaned up and ready to be painted over, whilst some other countries paint them over before showing the car to prospective purchasers. After some thought on the matter, I prefer to see the dings.
