Neither, they are both just low volume production models that you can easily find on the used car market. It is a small population of buyers that want and can afford one.

Lots of people can afford it. Especially in a key market like CA.
I think Porsche deliberately softened it up a bit to make it desirable to a larger group of people.
The acid test for desirability is resale value, imo, so we'll know in a year or two...
