i have had better luck since then but it still wants to step out more than i would expect under throttle exiting a corner.
I thought I read something like that a while ago; must have been you. I was monitoring pressures all the time - it didn't help no matter what we tried

I've got new rubber and alignment and will test it July 4.

We should just quit complaining and leave the tracking to our Exiges!

Hey Greg,

I dont want to rain on your post but if you said that your rear end was loose then your solution was not the correct one. If you had a loose condition in the rear and then you stiffened the rear and softened the front the car would have become more loose. On the N-spec we have found the car to be conditioned to oversteer (front end) so we made the rear more stiff and softened the front. It made things better but it didn't correct the problem.

If I had to guess from your post you are too hard on the gas coming out of corners and it has little to do with your set up. But I'm not there so it would just be a guess.

Was at Lowe's yesterday. Stock alignment with the Pirelli's. Car behaved beautifully. Very easy to manipulate at the edge with throttle. Just need to learn how to drive the car fast.

I think the biggest issue people might have are correct tire pressures. After my first session both the fronts and the rears were around 44 psi. I dropped to 34/36 hot and the car was simply amazing.

No track alignment needed for me. Car is plenty fast. My 2 cents. Keep the change.

Default Problem Solved

A new set of tires fixed the grip problem! I just did a track day today and the grip was very good. I guess the tires that came with the car were old (I think they were made almost a year before I took delivery). R-comps don't age well.

The originals were evil - they would suddenly break away with little warning.

And we can only get but so many heat cycles out of these R's as well.

Glad to hear you have the grip back.

Did you go to 18's or just buy new ones for the 19's?
