but does look nice.

otherwise i like all your options, not that my opinion should matter.

The only options I got were:

Full Leather - love it. Looks great with the stiching. Smells good. Worth every penny to me. It can be scratched but just don't let the cats(or idiots) in the car with you. Adds minimal weight and yes it is a $100k car that deserves it. And my GT3 is mostly a track bitch.

Sound package plus - stills sounds like crap compared to many good stereos but it is starting to sound better as the speakers break in. The stereo was almost unlistenable for the first few hours....its better now. Worth it for me as I have a 250 mile drive to the track.

Xenons - great and worth it if you ever drive at night...you will.

Note that painting wheels and I also believe the washer nipples will delay your car delivery as this painting is done after the car is completely built and it is sent to a different workshop. Frayed had this frustrating experience....he would probably say it was worth the wait however. I don't think that the shiny nipples look that bad but I'm not super **** about stuff like that anyway.

If you have allocation, get the RS and ditch the options. The only things I got are the Xenons (my eyesight is going), factory mats and red seat belts. don't waste money on the fire extinguisher, it is too small for any of the track events. Chrono adds nothing but weight and frankly all sound packages from Porsche sucks so keep the 715. I love the alcantara so for me to pay extra for leather is a joke. You did not mention what color you are ordering. depending on the color, you may want to get painted wheels, but only paint the spokes

But you get even more Alcantara with the "full leather".

Huh? They have a full leather option which really is full leather. The standard seat is called "leather - no charge" but is really alcantara. One more thing, get the footrest!

if you get full leather, the seat middle is still alcantera.
the door panel is 1/2 in leather and 1/2 in alcantera

Unfortunately, no.

The Alcantara in the seats remains. The additional Alcantara I mentioned is on the door panels and center console.

btw, the standard seat is leather with Alcantara.

My understanding is that full leather puts leather on the dash and maybe some more on sides of the seats. I really like the leather on the dash. It looks really good. The seats are not "full leather" with the full leather option and have alcantara in the seating area....they are great seats and my butt stays planted in them....no sliding around like my "full leather" seats on my turbo.

I stand corrected then. Just goes to show you the dealers have no idea what they are talking about. The full leather steering wheel looks nice and is thicker rimmed. The alcantara steering wheel is kind of thin

There are two leather wrapped steering wheel options available - thick and thicker. Mercifully, both are no-cost alternatives to the Alcantara...
