Default Track car poll.

You've got the GT3 or the RS. What 2nd car would you pick to get a totally different experience on the track and not be severely disappointed with the handling? Z06? Viper?(new one has 600hp) Lotus? etc.

I had an '06 Z06 first, and got the GT3 for that "different experience" on track. Lotus Exige/Elise would also be high on my list.

I think I would go american Z06 however on this www.readytofix.com I saw a lotus that was a flood car
that should not be too hard to fix and probably get it for a song

i have a RS and an exige. very different very very different cars.
i drove Z06, didn't like it.
gallardo, nope.
430, loved it. no $$$

btw, paul, lotus are very very difficult to fix (flood cars or wrecked one's), and EXTREMELY $$$. my front clam and head light job was $9k, that was with a pretty hefty discount from the body shop.

Gotta admit. Lotus is an attractive car...more than just visually. Not sure I could fit in one. Did they ever produce that GT3 model?

80-90K, I believe. I've ridden in one on the track, but not driven one. They're definitely quick cars, and the nice thing about them is that they're setup and ready to go (cage, fire suppression, etc.). I guess I'm strange, though (well, I know I am): I think I'd actually prefer having a non-supercharged Exige or an Elise. They've got a completely different power/weight ratio than a Z06, GT3, or Lotus Exige Cup, and to me are therefore a completely different driving experience.

GT3 is not yet available, no in USA anyway.
240 cup can be had for 70k used.
255 cup are insane at 90k new.
exige S is a good by at 65k
or you should just take my well set up exige N/A for a good price, LOL. i am seriouis....

it cost 1/5 the $ to run than GT3's. my RA1 got 1740 track miles and 5000 street miles on top of that. i conservatively think it's got 1000 more track miles to go. front pads are $109/set.

the fiberglass shells are fragile and $$$ to fix. so try no to drive into walls

How much? Is yours an "s"? Heck, the shipping alone from coast-to-coast would kill the price. Can I fit my herculean body in it? They look like I could hold one under each arm.
