Default Finally got one !

Some of you may have seen some pics I posted elsewhere...had fun driving over the weekend and the break-in has started. Thanks to Brian Cunningham and the crew at Porsche of Lexington....great delivery experience.

So far, I love this car...great cornering, flat as can be....excellent fit and finish, and an engine that just wants to rev and rev ! Hard to keep below 4500 rpms (any break-in suggestions are welcomed please).

This is going to be one fun vehicle through the years....I'm so happy with it !

Here are some pics...all the best, Jas

Great lookin GT3. I like the clear side markers and yellow belts to match the breaks.

Is that an RS steering wheel or did you put the yellow tape on it?

thanks for the pics and info it looks great and very similar to what I specified for MY08, provided it shows. Some of the recent posts have me twisting a bit.

Great looking GT3, it really looks good on white but somehow I can't pay attention to it too much, that F friggin' 40 takes all my attention!!

Its an RS wheel...I ordered in from Suncoast Porsche before delivery...and POL put it on before I took it home...including side markers...

It was $499, is genuine RS oem, and comes without airbag, which just swapped over from the stock steering wheel....I just thought the yellow stripe on the wheel ties the belts and calipers together...although I may have to paint to fire extinguisher yellow !

clears and steering wheel install labour were last minute throw ins by my dealer.....Porsche of Lexington was outstanding...give Brian Cunningham a call at 1-859-335-1111....they always have a decent stock and some pretty amazing used CPO deals too.

I was driving the CGT and CS equally....but the 997GT3 is quickly going to become my everyday fun goto car....never thought making the turn into my street could be so enjoyable....(I know, I'm not right....)

You certainly have a great taste in fine autos. There is not one car in the collection I wouldn't mind owning. I'm especially in lust with the CS, esp. with the stripe. If it were just two cars, I think the 7GT3 and CS would be the perfect "modest" stablemates, but at the same time redundant, you think?

Over on FChat...I still remember the joy you had when you got your F40.

Congrats on your new GT3 and your fine collection.
