Ran my car for the first time today on the track at VIR. My Oil Temp was consistently in the 220 to 225 range and the Coolant Temp was right at 175. Normally on the street the Oil Temp is around 200 to 205. Just wanted to check to see if this is normal for Oil Temp when on the track- seemed a bit high but not sure what others are seeing.

That's about right. I had the same and so did another 997 GT3.

Same thing here. It ran a little hotter on the track.

doug i went back and looked... that was completely normal

230 to 240 at the track (Watkins Glen, outside air temp was 90 to 95)

Your coolant temperature guage is at least 10% too low compared to your actual temperature.
