And yes this Angel of Mercy is a Rennlister. Amazing people. Looks like I am headed for a L5-S1 fusion.
Well that's great news and in the end, you'll be able to play with your new toy and smell like 2 stroke.

Makes the GT3 seem old.
Cool Jeep. What's the story behind the find/purchase?

Its a government truck owned by the Navy -They should have gotten rid of it a couple decades ago. so I get to use it since I work out in a high explosive area 15 miles from central area. Some guys have 07 silverado trucks I have a 74 Jeep. It belongs to the group I work for. I drive to base in my private car then transfer to my "company car" for the trip out to the range

Harvest those "pumpkins" and put some clear side markers on that thing! They will make it look sooooo much better!

Old Guy,

Forgive the paternalistic comment, BUT don't spend any significant time in the jeep if you really have an exhaust leak. Carbon Monoxide exposure is insidious, odorless, and kills many people every year (many from riding in the back of enclosed pickup truck beds with a similar exhaust leak).

Sorry, just can't hold back a word of caution...

How many of you guys have parted with your car due to back problems. I, sold my MkI GT3 for a Tip-Turbo!! I have gone through two surgeries L4-5, and it seems this summer, I will have to fuse them. Thought of selling the 997GT3, but decided I will miss in six moths time!

What's your lap time at the Nurburgring?
Those racin' slicks or just slick?
Does it have SportChrono or Daytimer?

Nick, please weigh in with your expert safety assessment.
