Weight savings?

On track prepped bmws, I've seen 25lbs, comparing no hole sheet metal to hole sheet metal + sunroof.
Not sure on a GT3, but the quote I have read many times for a 964/993 the weight savings is 44 lbs. Wish my car didn't have a sunroof....but I do have JRZ doubles!

I was told it was about 45 lbs. but we have not weighed the parts yet. We have been more concerned with what is going on the car rather than what is comnig off.

I'll be interested to hear your impressions once it's done. I can't decide on the dampers let alone the springs, sways or choosing rates etc. I'll really like something I can dial back to plush-o-matic for the crappy Bay Area roads but unless that's a cabin-adjustable electric remote or whatever, it's just never going to happen.
