I will get the car back on Wednesday and will post pictures thereafter. These grilles are the opposite of protruding - they are deep within the holes. Bad for racing, I guess, but fine for DE and good looking for the street.

I ordered mine from Gert and had them installed at Lucent.
The sides fit perfectly from inside the bumber, they did not need to use the screws.
The center grill was installed from the outside using 2 bolts for the top and double sided tabe for the buttom of the grill.
Looks beautiful.

We have installed the screens Gert supplies and they fit "ok" It is not the most elegant solution and they are rather flimsy, but they looked fine when we were done. I am not sure hoe effective they would be on a track with major debris flying around, but it may help...

Good luck, Jerry

ok, let's get our acts together here.
i know of three products.
one, from gert
two, from motorsport (which may or may not be the same as the one from gert)
three, from TRG (autin's post earlier)

jerry p states that gert's version fits ok and somewhat flimsy.

anyone got the motorsport one? how does that compare to gerts?

personally i dont mind the little dents dings bents on the radiator, that's just cosmetic. i dont want slow moving rodents or fast flying rocks to take out my radiator and ac condensor.

I took a good look at Tom Bobbit's new car last weekend at Mid Ohio (997 Super Cup) and thought that the screens while fitting well looked like something that I could buy at Home Depot and fit in there. My guess is that they were probably stainless steel.

To the best of my recollection it did not have a frame around it like Austin's pictures.

I've got the Porsche Motorsports grills. I can't comment on install 'cause I didn't do it, but as I said before no one complained to me that it was unexpectedly difficult. The bumper cover definitely needs to come off, though.

I know these work, at least to some extent. Another forum member (Jim Bacus) has them on his car as well, and he picked up a couple of nice indentations in the mesh from rocks on the highway. Don't know if he managed to pull the mesh back out or not, but the rocks didn't get through.
