I would be interested in knowing:
Who specs the car?
Who holds the deposit?
When will the outcome be known?
Who benefits from factory delivery?
Why must you drive it on a track?
What is a reasonable deal considering a bone stock RS and a well optioned GT3 aren't that far apart? (In price.)
Looks like this deal is going to have to rely on fuzzy math.

 

First, scratch the track/Nurburgring part. That was a stupid/bad idea blurted out by me.

I figured the buyer would spec the car. I have no vested interest in it.

Porsche holds the deposit.

I was told, delivery by reasonable date (Sept, Oct, Nov '07) or deposit returned and deal off if desired.

Factory delivery not necessary (I don't believe), could go to any dealer.


I think I'm just going to work with my dealer friend and see what happens.
