No Porsche rollbars for standard US GT3s
I had both of the rollbars Porsche lists on order. The first one I ordered had a list of $9xx. Since PAG had other inquires into the same part recently they raised the price by $1000. The other rollbar that I have on the way is the Euro RS bar (black). But here is the info I have from PCNA regarding either of these bars as of yesterday.
"Interesting that you should mention this now...... According to info from PAG that was received by the Parts group this morning "ROLL BARS CANNOT BE FITTED INTO CARS WITH SUN ROOFS" I can't tell you why but I bet it has to do with headliner thickness."

I think we covered this previously with the 997 GT3 order guide for RoW cars. If you ordered the sunroof option you couldn't have the club sport package (included the roll bar). We assumed that was do to the ceiling to bar clearance being pretty small, hence added ceiling thickness of sunroof assembly killed the roll bar fit.
