I think it is a shame Porsche AG has all the wing side (end) plates painted (like to see that carbon fiber weave) on the 997 GT3 RS. I assume they did that to make the side plates easier to finish cosmetically as there were many problems with the 996 RS Wing side plates.

The car looks fantastic.

I think a white car with some nice contrast can be one of the best looking cars out there. But you need the contrast like the black in this case, otherwise you're driving a big marshmallow.

Will white w/ black graphics and wheels be as strong as orange for resale? Or is orange the ultimate RS color? I still can change my order. I love orange, but don't know how it will be for daily use. White might be more usable.

get what u like. worry about resale is not realistic for RS buyer.

if u plan for daily driving the car then i'd go for silver. regardless i think silver with black decal will be really hot. to a certain point the white is just too bright for me.

I don't know, but you should be buying the car that makes you happy, not someone else. You have some serious thinking to do. I've never been that keen on orange or green. Reminds me a little too much of crazy car colors in the 70's that seem like a fad. Mind you, the people who'd be interested in a GT3 RS are a little different than regular folks.

To me, I'd rather have this white beauty in my garage. I love it.

Also keep in mind to order white with black graphics, wing tips, mirrors, and black wheels will cost about 2k more than any other color. That may mean having to take out some other options. is it worth it? The pics above have white mirrors. Do you like them white or black?

Buy what you'll be happy with. If I was in the market for an RS I'd easily pay more for white/black because I don't really like orange or green. As I said before, those are too "70's" for me.

For the white or black mirrors, both colors seem to work for me. If I was buying the car used and if I felt strongly about a specific color, I'd have them painted. That's cheap and easy to do.

Car looks great. I had planned on adding the side graphics as well, but was recently able to change my order with the factory to install the black items on my white RS. That being said, I don't have a use for my graphics that I purchased from dealership if someone is interested.
