its not bad...i have a feeling that they'll change some body panels/looks of the car before they finally release it.

No Queston 996 GT2 looks meaner and it is by no means as good looking as a 997 GT3 RS!

Keep in mind the car pictured is on snow tires with narrow, conservative wheels.

Lack of central splitter is kinda goofy looking to me. Maybe she's cuter in person?

Looks like a hockey player. Damn,maybe they want to sell 'em in the Great White North!

For my Canadian friends;

You do know why Canadians like doggie style, don't you?

Interestingly, it seems the 2008 GT2 is still with the current style head-lights and tail-lights. Does it mean that Porsche is not going to facelift the 997 in 08' as rumored (09' may be?)

With best regards,

it would be entirely consistent with behaviour in the past, if the produiction rear wing was slightly different........

I agree the 996 GT2 looks alot nicer. guess I'll have to see this one in person to see how I like it. It still looks disguised. as the front bumper is taped up as is the rear bumper and logos in silver tape. Plus it looks like the front center apron is missing as well as the lower lip.

As far as the snow tires. When I was a working at the porsche dealer we had a couple of test Carrera 4 and 4S test mules come in for repair. and they did look slightly different then the production cars. And they had 18" Cup II wheels on them with snow tires and both cars had Black brake calipers. It was cool to see.

So I know that there will be some changes to the GT2 right before production, like the rear bumper with the vents I hope they change those
