Default Just one straight question on PCCBs

There's simply too much information out there - I've lost count of how many threads and posts I've read about PCCBs, but as I'm just days away from making the final spec for my GT3, let me just ask this:

Apart from there being some potential problems when it comes to heeling & toeing, has anyone actually had any problems occur with the latest generation (yet..)?

I think the answer is 'no', but maybe I missed a post somewhere.

Apart from lots of conjecture, forecasting, and foreboding, no, nobody has had any problems with 2nd-gen PCCBs.

I don't read Porsche message boards 24/7, but I would think that if someone did have some glaring issue, it would've been made very public by now. The local dealer's service and parts departments also report no 2nd-gen PCCB warranty claims.

Could you post a pic of the rest of the car who's steering wheel we see in your avatar?

Default 911 on the Autobahn

Gee's
Great looking picture.
That looked like a nice run.
Foot all the way down, all guages at max.

One of those moments, nice

...and it stayed that way for a good long time. I spent a little while pondering whether I should go past the redline (my car's limiter is around 200rpm beyond it) but eventually decided the 'gain' just wouldn't be worth the potential pain.

A recent article in Excellence on the F77 states "have heard reports that suggest PCCB IIs may still be an "expensive" choice for track days". Page 54- May issue. Buyer beware.
