Ray,

Good looking car! All the different RS color schemes (orange, green, silver, and black) are unique, but white allows the owner to "personalize" the car to a larger extent. Cool car!

I don't understand why you'd want to make the 997 RS look like a 996. But it looks like a very good job anyway. Congratulations!!!

My thought was not to make it look like a 996 RS, but rather to have it be the way Porsche does graphics and mirrors on a white car. The last time they did that was on the 996 RS (true), but the graphics are 997 RS graphics. Aestethically, I like the carbon fiber mirrors that tie to the wing, and the blue graphics with the blue wheels. Basically, white/black above the belt line, white/Riviera blue below it (just like the 996 RS, it's true). To my eye, the wheels are more interesting having the spokes painted in pairs (including the bases) and leaving the rims silver, but that's just me.
The "RS" on the wheels are also painted silver, as are the stem caps, which ties to the rim color.
The car certainly has more charisma with the graphics and painted wheels than it has without them. I realize that one could second guess the carbon fiber mirrors, but they look great in person.

Carbon Fiber mirrors are from Cargraphic. Found them by rummaging around in one of the UK Porsche magazines (Total 911, 911 and Porsche World, and GT Purely Porsche).

Ray,

The car looks awesome. That's my favorite color combination on the 996 GT3 RS and now my favorite combination for the 997 GT3 RS.

Perfect.
