Matt, I'm looking forward for the obvious: 997 GT3 vs. 996 GT3 vs. 997 TT vs. 996 Cup (with times and videos)

Matt, I'll be up at Synergy later today dropping of my car for setup. I'll see if I can't catch any of y'all down in the paddock. I think Chris is up there this weekend as well.

Sorry... but I am not a big fan of freezing my butt off. Currently 21 degrees but with the wind chill it will never feel above about 38 today.

No thanks.

I just can never get the car to feel right at this temp but I do look forward to Matt's report.

I did my friend. As much as I wanted to run I just can't make myself get out when it is this cold at the track. Both the car and I just don't seem to get up to speed.

Talked to Greg last Wednesday. He had to order some springs for me and they were not to get there until yesterday so the car probably would not have been ready either way. Also, trailer not getting here until Monday or Tuesday.

Greg is going to store the car for me there until I run March 3/4.

Please tell him I said hello and have fun taking your car up there. Please let Matt know we want info.

What type of grip can you get at that temp? I would be suffering from severe "shrinkage"

Not sure what grip he is getting, but I just got back from VIR and clocked a few laps of Matt flying around at a nice 2:05 pace. Sounds like plenty of grip. However, I have to say, I have seen Matt routinely turning consistent 2:02's.

I know he ran his street GT3 this morning before I got there but he was running the cup with the times quoted.

Matt (E) I figured you'd be up (rather down) there today???

I'm not a member yet, but I was invited to go as a guest - just couldn't make it work for this weekend.
I am getting the Cup car ready for next month and also awaiting my 997. I will bring both cars to the Zone 2 event. I CAN'T WAIT!!!
My wife and I are going to Tahiti/Bora Bora the very next week after the Zone 2 event, but I am much more excited about the track than Bora Bora! (Just don't tell my wife that )
