I like it a lot! Great street car and a pretty good track car as well. I ran it at Willow Springs on Wednesday and I was impressed. I still need to sort out the suspension settings but I was running better times than with my dialed in GT2. It feels very planted and the rear is very stable. It is the best stock 911 street/track car I have ever driven or owned.

It was pushing a bit mid corner so we made a few tweeks and I will try it again Sunday at the POC Streets event.

So will the stock suspension work and what are you running in? Is anyone doing an after market shock yet that gives more adjustable settings but still works with PASM?

grussel,

on your new shoes, do you have tpms sensors? if so, who installed it.
if not, how do you deal with the warning light on the dash?

The new wheels have sensors.

i am very tight with this dealer, they have killed my airbag lights, seat belt lights and whatever. but they dont know how to kill of tpms.

that's great champion wheels got the sensors, i will look into that. now if they would just make them in 18"...

TRJ, i would advise against motons for 997gt3 at the present moment. to run motons you have to have monoball uppers at the minimum. and after 5k miles it will get very very very noisy if you use high spring rates. i have had 4 sets of motons on different cars from bmw to porsches. they exhibit the same noise. now if you only use them for track, wonderful. if not..i wont do it again. the stock suspension is quite good. drive that for a year then see where it leads you.

Thanks Mooty, thats exactly what I wanted to hear! What is the whole tpms sensor thing? Is it the tire pressure monitoring system and do all cars automatically come with that? I know it is not on my Cayman but I never changed wheels so????
