I have Champion one-piece forged. Very good.
I'd consider Forgeline ZX3R with black centres.
Whatever you get, definitely look at a silver/polished rim section, otherwise it has a drab look. Sure, the RS is fully painted and that might "work" in some combinations, but against a dark paint, the black or dark wheel looks too "deliberate" in a "I'm bad" way. Okay for some.

Lap times: Are we talking VIR here, or someplace else?

Thanks.

VIR Full Course 3.27 miles

Thanks. I've been there 5 times with my basically-stock 3.2 Carrera, running in the low 20s. Looks like I have an exciting visit coming up with my new 997 GT3!

those are nice.

i wanted dymags but then though of the $ and the fact that if you **** it up you need to send it to them to fix, not worth it for a street car.

i was ready to get the superleggera's but then.....

i was offered an unbeatable deal on HRE's and i ordered a set of C22's, they (comp. series) are lighter than the rest of their offerings and from experience (had 547r's in black on my clk, pic in 997 forum) i know that they are very strong.

Gary was a pleasure to deal with and will be my new Porsche dealer. The wife is loving the new CTTS!

I went with 19" RS98. I am not ready to trial and error the 18" sizes yet.

Factory 997 GT3
8.5x19"
24 lbs. 5 oz.

12x19"
30 lbs. 13 oz.

Champion RS98
9x19"
19 lbs.

12x19"
20 lbs. 6 oz.

Good choice. I ordered the same model (RS98) simi gloss black centers with polished lip for my track wheels.
