having fun describing what "standard" items are being deleted from the US version of the RS....now its the "yellow stripe" on the steering wheel that has them all up in arms.

Let's get the 3 Amigos; Colm, MJSpeed and the Finn to put the screws to their respective "moles" on the inside and get us the latest real deal

too much speculation...I want the truth! (and yes, maybe I can't handle the truth; but I still want it)

My car was finished yesterday, so hopefully we will know in 4 to 5 weeks. My dealer told me in Mid. December that they were told by Porsche, when making some final updates to my car order (after it had gone final), that the yellow stripe had come into question, as it was not the "exact" DOT approved wheel as the GT3 and while it was a technicality, they were looking into affirmative approval, so cars did not get held up at PDI.

We will have to wait and see.

Wow, I have a yellow stripe on my GT3 wheel. True, it didn't come with the car but it's there now.

This is effing bulls*it. Porsche happily took my deposit and hurried me and others into firming up our specs BEFORE they knew what the car would come with. You would think that a company like that would have done their f*cking homework, BEFORE asking people to dole out.

Apparently the light flywheel was in question too as is this stupid yellow strip.
I am at the point that IF the car does not come delivered with the flywheel I wont be taking delivery of it.
