no GT3 RS with AC delete - yet
Nobody has chosen the Delete Air Conditioning option on the RS yet.
We Americans can't order 229 of these and not one with AC delete!
Unless someone does it, we'll never know the weight of the AC system.
I'll do it - for the greater good of the RennList community.
I just need an allocation!

A/C is around 44lb complete.
Pulling the compressor alone is about 30lb.
Just try getting a dealer to order any 911 with a/c delete. Like pulling teeth.
And I wouldn't recommend it either.
Just get the A/C and (with consideration for the environment and green house gasses) have a reputable a/c shop evacuate the system, remove the fuses and the compressor then fit an appropriately shorter serpentine belt.
The other 10lbs will have to come off the car in terms of the spare tire most GT3 RS owners carry with them ... : )
The most interesting thing to learn about the first RS to be in Rennlister hands in the USA will be to release the roof liner and check the inside of the roof panel.

I while ago, I was looking for an RS America.
Wanted one with no sunroof, no AC, no anything. Couldn't find one.
Apparently most were spec'ed with AC, sunroof, stereo, etc...
Looking back, it seems a shame that all those RS Americas were ordered fully loaded, doesn't it?

I think it is really retarded if you are buying an RS because of the weight reduction and you get it without PCCBs or the A/C delete.
